This is a guided journal from Baron Fig. The Do Work Journal has a three-part system to help you break down your to-do list. It is designed to help you tackle big projects with small tasks. The Do Work Journal allows you to plan for the quarterly, weekly, and daily.
This product caught my eye and I decided to impulse buy it as it seems perfect for my style of getting things done. However, I am still using the Swirls Daily Journal so I may not end up using it until I have finished/got bored with the Swirls Journal. However, the notebook does come professionally packaged in a box, which means I can safely store it until it is time to use it which is great.
The journal is designed to be used with a three-phase productivity method which I am sure you are all familiar with: Milestones, Goals and Tasks. Using milestones you can plan your upcoming quarter. this can then be split into goals for the week (which may or may not directly relate to your Milestones) and then individual tasks to do each day.
The Quarterly Pages allow for 3 milestones, which can then be broken down into three goals. There is also space for misc. notes and highlights. The side page bars can be used to track progress.
Next, we have the Weekly Overview which has space for 3 goals, broken down into tasks. There is also space for misc. notes and highlights for 5 days. The side page bars can be used to track progress.
Then we have the Day Overview Pages which is a two page spread. One page for tasks and the second for notes. You can track your progress and wins in the side page bars as well as your hours. As this is designed to be a work journal it is also worth noting that there are 5 daily pages for each week (not 7).
At the end of the notebook after the quarterly, weekly, daily pages there is an index, and space for important information as well as dot-grid notes pages.
