As I am a great fan of stationery I am also a fan of physical cards, letters and snail-mail. I recently went shopping at CherryDidi.
Cherrydidi is the brainchild of Jean and Ade Harmer. The first Cherrydidi shop opened in Priest’s Mill, Caldbeck, in 2012, with a focus on helping artists and makers from across Cumbria and beyond, to start up their own businesses and grow sustainable careers, with their brilliant and individual talents at the centre.
They moved to Keswick in 2014 and opened a second shop in Ambleside in 2018. They sell beautiful and ethically-minded products supporting local artists.
I wanted to buy the whole shop. However, I settled on buying some greeting cards featuring some stunning artwork including:
Rydal Water Island | Jennifer Guest
Window to Borrowdale | Sam Martin
Grasmere | Graham McKenzie-Smith
Green Mist, Winlater | Sam Martin
