At work I’ve been using the Chicago No.3. which was produced by the Completist, exclusively for Papersmiths. It is an undated planner and you can start this one at any time.

The planner has a day per page for weekdays and a page for the weekend. This means it is perfect for a work planner. It also runs for 52 weeks in total (so no need to update it each quarter like some other daily planner options). As mentioned I use this notebook for work and use it as my desk planner to plan out my to do list for each day. The layout includes space for appointments/meetings, your to-do list and a blank section for notes.
So how has this planner been third time round. I’ve actually being using the appointment section less which is odd as I seem to be having more appointments put in my diary. However, I think part of that it laziness. I now have too many calls and meetings so that I can’t be bothered writing them all out or something. Who knows?!
I have also started using with two things in mind. One I use it for my daily to do list – working out what I need to do each day and two if I don’t have time to do everything but I have an actual deadline I also put this in. This second part is a more recent habit and a change in how I am using the planner.
How I still want to write out my list of things each day. So we will continue and see how it goes, but I might use a slightly different style of planner next year.
