Notebooks can make the perfect gift for the right person. I always get notebooks as gifts, but then again most people I know – know I love notebooks. But what about a gift of a notebook for someone who isn’t a big fan of paper.
The journals of a lifetime series really hit the spot. Hardback notebooks to give as a gift to members of your family. The idea behind it is that you give the notebook to the relevant family member (dear dad pictured by way of example to remind you of father’s day) they fill it in the memories and information about themselves in response to series of questions and give it back.
Such a personal and beautiful gift… Just be warned if you give this gift, you will probably get one back.
What a terrific gift idea! And how great would it be to give one to all your family members and get so much information back–especially if you happen to be a memoirist. Very cool.
Some of e questions are quite difficult and require “research” but it is interesting to see what you get back.
How inspiring, what a gift to cherish.
Visiting through the A to Z Challenge. Lovely blog!

Hello, Travis! I love giving notebooks and journals to my writing buddies and I love receiving them, too. When I was in high school and college, my Nana and Poppop used to give me a beautiful leather-bound, page-gilded journal and fancy pen for each Christmas. I finally filled up the last one a year ago! One of my favorite times of year is the back to school sales so I can stock up on notebooks and other office supplies, LoL!
Have a great weekend and happy A to Z!!
Sounds like a fantastic present to get from the grandparents 🙂 haha. Love the school sales myself.
Those are great if you can get the other person to do it. I’m trying to visit all the A-Z Challenge Blogs this month. My alphabet is at myqualityday.blogspot.com
I wait to see the response I get from my book I’ve gifted.
i love notebooks as well! I have a lot of blank journals just waiting to be used:)
