Arguably the last great master of ukiyo-e, Utagawa Hiroshige is best known for his evocative landscapes. His experiments in this genre culminated in one of his most famous series, “One Hundred Famous Views of Edo”. The area of Kamata, as depicted here, was well known for its plum trees.
The covers of these notebooks are printed on foil in five colours, embossed then foil stamped. They are also practical and have a pocket at the back for receipts etc, two bookmarks and a magnetic side flap. These are perfect for personal use and also make a great gift.
