Kindred Spirit is a limited release from Write Notepads & Co. It was released in the summer of 2016.

The box the notebooks came in is Butcher Orange with black printing that says Charcoal Bookettes. It then says “Enjoy a Mental Picnic: sizzling broiled ideas, steaming hot designs, toasted visual goodness” on the box cover.

The notebooks themselves are simple. They have the same Butcher Orange paper covers. The notebooks have a simple “Write” flame logo. The paper is lined ledger ruling in light orange.

The notebooks are otherwise the same as the classic Write Notepad. I have still not fully embraced the glue binding of the Write Notepads and tend to favour either stapled or stitched. However, I can’t deny that these are stunning notebooks and somehow that seems to have motivated me to use them.
