You may have seen the recent Kickstarter from Thinkerish – Re:Note (Interactive Sticky Notes). My set of sticky notes landed from Hong Kong last week so I have been trying these out. I simply love using sticky notes (and use them everywhere) so I was really excited about this project and the potential for interaction with the people leave sticky notes for.
There are three key features to this sticky note to make it more interesting (and interactive). Re:Note lets you know whether your note is “Read” or “Liked” by your intended reader as well as a face box to ‘show emotion’.

So far I really like the “like” feature although I find it quite fiddley even with my delicate fingers to properly secure it (so have ended up simply folding it over rather than also tucking it in). The un/read feature is really handy and easy to use. It can also be used to ‘tick off’ when you have dealt with an actionable sticky note which is what I will probably use it for most. However, the disappointing thing about these sticky notes is that they are not sticky enough.
As an excessive user of sticky notes I need sticky notes that will last, that will stay where placed and not curl up. But maybe is it just me… so I’ve passed mutiple packs around the office to see what everyone else thinks of them and will report back.
