Another Kickstarter Find that I backed last year is the Accomplishment Journal. I already use a Career Journal but was interested to see what the Accomplishment Journal had to offer.
The book is described as a proactive tool designed to help you identify (and write down) your most hireable work experiences and value-added achievements as they happen and can be used in three easy steps:
- Step #1 Record valuable work experiences and achievements as they happen
- Step #2 Easily refresh your memory before a job interview or performance review
- Step #3 Make progress on career goals and feel accomplished along the way!
As well as the introductory content the book includes:
- 1 x Initial kickoff questions
- 52 x Weekly Questions Pages
- 13 x Monthly Questions Pages
- 1 x Year-in-review Questions
- 1 x Soft skills brainstorming page
The initial questions are designed to set the scene. The book can be used in “chronological order” and each week you will be presented a set of journal questions that you can quickly fill in. After each 4 week cycle, there is then a set of monthly questions. At the end of the book, you will find the year in review to tie it all up in a bow.
