I signed up for the My Bungu Box back in JUNE 2018 and I only received by first box on 14 December. So very disappointed from that perspective – as it is unclear from the website when boxes are shipped and what they include I have no idea what I am expecting when.
I have signed up and paid for a

- SARASA pens (in vintage red and green).
After the long wait, there were a few goodies in the box that were worth it. I liked the notebook and the SARASA Pens. However, the special item for me was the pen cut mini (as I had not seen one of these before).
Life Stationery Margin Memo Notebook
Life Stationery is a classic Japanese notebook I love the simplicity of their notebooks. I have not tried their “Margin” Memo Notebook before. The Notebook has plain pages (80 sheets) and a thick pink/red margin layout. The notebook is Semi B7 in size so fits in your pocket and has a soft cover (card/craft paper) with cloth binding in red. I love it.
Midliner
I recently bought a set of Midliners for the first time. Luckily, the one I received in the box is a different colour of green and I can add it to my collection. If you have not used a Midliner before they are double-ended, providing a highlighter and bullet marker in one. Each pen has a 3mm chisel tip to use as a highlighter and a 1mm fine bullet tip. (you can see the highlighter in use in the picture below.
SARASA Pens
The SARASA Pens (from Zebra) are apparently Japan’s Number One Selling Gel Pen. The pens are “seasonal” and came in red and green. They are beautiful colours (doodle below) and also work really well with the notebook.
Aluminium Pen Caps
I am not a big pencil user (and most of the pencils I own I have received via stationery subscription boxes) so I would never choose to buy this product. The Aluminium Pencil Caps are designed to keep the lead of your pencils safe while protecting the rest of your things in your bag or pencil case from pencil marks. The pack includes 6 colourful caps.
Shinzi Katoh Washi Tape
The Washi Tape /Maskting Tape from Shinzi Katoh is vey cute and I love the red riding hood character on her stuff. The tape itself is red and gives off a seasonal/christmassy vibe.
Pen Cut Mini
The Pen Cut Mini was probably my favourite item in this box (as it was the most unexpected). I love the vivid lime colouring and I can never have too many handy tools.
Gold Clips
The last item in the box is the gold clips. I was a little disappointed by these as they didn’t seem to be any different from any other gold clips that I have, but they are a staple in the stationery draw so I can complain too much as I am sure I will use them at some point.
