This year I’ve been using the Notem Studio 2023 Annual Journal (weekly layout) A5 in Dark Green. It has flat lay binding and contains both a monthly overview and a weekly overview with vertical columns. I have been using this planner as my professional diary for my voluntary roles. The journal pages are great for keeping meeting notes from committee meetings, events and calls related to my voluntary roles which means that everything is all in one handy place.
It continues to be a great choice if you want a combination of a planner and notebook/journal. This has plenty of writing space for keeping everything all in one place.
The Annual Diary is a thick sturdy volume with 225 pages. The spine is left open and not fixed onto the cover of this journal. That makes the spine visible when you open the journal and presents a perfectly flat surface, with a seamless transition between left and right. Although you do need to lean on something to write in the journal right at the beginning of the planner.
In practice I use the weekly pages as a sort of to-do list with notes and actionable things that I need to do each week to progress the projects I am working on in my voluntary roles. I have been really busy this year, so some of this planning/to do list has migrated into my Marcello diary as I can’t take both of these on the go, but when I am at home and I am doing a day of work or a couple of hours on my voluntary work this planner is great for making sure that I am productive as can been and keeps everything in one place.
