I often write about purchases that I have made online, but I do also often buy stationery (inc cards) from Paperchase. Paperchase is one of the classic high-street stationery stores that I often visit and it has been interesting to see how they have developed their stationery range over the years. They are following trends and have developed a range of affordable organisational notebooks for many occassions. However, my latest trip has been about stocking up on writing tools.
For those of you who follow the blog, you will know that from a personal perspective I am more about the notebook and the paper. However, to write in notebooks you need a solid supply of classic writing utentils.
The Back to School offers this month seemed like the perfect time to restock.
Bic Intensity
These pens are vibrant fineliners (0.4mm) that come in a 6 pack containing purple, blue, orange, green, yellow and red. The yellow wasn’t particularly visible so I would have preferred to have an alternative colour to this.
The pens are perfect for writing and doodling. However, they are sold as “do not bleed through paper” but there is more ghosting through the paper than I was hoping for, but the pens do a sold job of adding colour to your pages.
Stabilo Flash Highlighters
Next on my list was some highlighters. I got the stabilo flash highlighters. I am a massive fan of stabilo highlighters (as the don’t drop out on you), but I wanted a set that was easier to carry around. The Stabilo highlighters come in a range of colours: pink, dark pink (red), orange, yellow, blue and green.
Colouring Pencils – Staedtler
I also got a classic set of colouring pencils from Staedtler. This is a simple classic pack of decent colouring pencils.
