Papergang’s latest box “Rise Above it” is a designed by Illyahna Johnson, a calligrapher and lettering artist. The box is inspired by lettering and calligraphy. Calligraphy is always something I thought would be really cool to do properly, but I’ve never had the patience – but it does mean that the pieces in this collection are beautiful.
The key piece is this daily planner. I have really been enjoying the Papergang/Ohh Deer style of daily planners (you can read previous thoughts on these here and here). This one is slightly different in that it has a hard debossed cover rather than a linen cover, so it need a bit more pressure to lay flat, but it looks like it will be hard wearing.
The Calligraphy ruler is also pretty neat as it has all the measurements and markings you need to do calligraphy lettering.
