Part of the Papersmiths own collection of notebooks this month I am using the Marais Notebook as my journal/mind dump notebook.
The inspiration; Lavender linen anyone? Spotted on a puffa jacket in the Marais district during an accidental visit to Paris Fashion Week, this hue of lilac is finished with a linen emboss.
Marais is a lilac A5 notebook with 236 pages. I have chosen a lined/ruled notebook but it is also available in dot grid and plain pages.
The notebook begins with a simple printed bookplate two contents pages and numbered pages throughout allow for easy navigation. As you move through the notebook, the page numbers gradually change colour, taking you through the spectrum – which is really cool.
The notebook contains 100gsm smooth, fountain pen friendly paper stock with minimal show through.
The cover is subtly blind embossed with ‘Papersmiths’ on the back and a satisfying thumb print sized monogram to the front.
