I love reading books, but I often find that I don’t have time. So I keep both a book journal and a reading list. Others like to have a notebook to not just record the books they want to read and have read but to also use a notebook to record interesting passages or quotes that they want to remember/learn from. Below are some examples of book/reading journals:
- Moleskine Book Journal
- Literary Gift Co: Reading Journal
- Books to Check Out
- K Two Book Journal
- Book Lover’s Journal
- Book Lust Journal
- My Bibliofile
Do you record the books you read or want to read? If so, how?
A reading book journal is such a great idea. I hit on the link and immediately want it. No, I don’t record books read or those I want to .. I may change my mind ..

Honestly I find this a hard journal to maintain. Particularly post-reading entries. But I do find it useful to keep a list of books i want to read and recommendations made by others. 🙂
I use Goodreads to track my reading list now. I have about 150 books To Read (wish list…sigh) and I am always finding more!
I snap photos with my phone when I read a good review, that way it’s with me when I go to the library.
