I have written plenty of times before about different styles of gratitude and reflection journals from the one sentence a day style journals to more in-depth journals designed for practicing gratitude.
However, I wanted to talk about practicing gratitude in your everyday notebook, your monthly notebook, your everyday carry or your standard diary – i.e. whatever notebook you just happen to be using!
In one easy step:
Before you go to sleep each night, write down three things that you happened that day that you are thankful for. Write a sentence about why each happened or what was so good about it.
Writing about postive events or practicing gratitude may seem awkward at first, but stick with is, it gets easier and the positive re-enforcement will increase well-being and your happiness.
The notebook that I am using for this practice is the Nock Dashdot notebook in Nikko Blue. Why not give it a go.
