I love undated planners (even when starting a new year because it gives you flexibility. I was looking for a new daily planner for work to replace my 2019 list a day diary (which unfortunately did not appear to have had a re-release for 2020 otherwise I would have bought it instead).
Then I came across the Swirls No. 2 Daily Planner from Completist when browsing in Papersmiths and was surprised that I had not come across these planners and notebooks yet given how eyecatching they are visually.
They have a fantastic range of colourful cover options (in both the Daily Planner and the Weekly Planner). I eventually decided on this lovely swirl print which has a contrast peach inside cover.
The planner is undated so you can start using it whenever you like. It has a day per page for weekdays, and a day for the weekend. This means it is perfect for a work planner. It also runs for 52 weeks in total (so no need to update it each quarter like some other daily planner options). The layout includes space for appointments/meetings, your to-do list and a blank section for notes. All you really need in one handy place for a work desk diary. Also the best bit – it is a lay-flat notebook so I can have it open on my desk and use it at the same time as my other notebooks.
There are only two downsides from my personal perspective. One is that there are only 3 notes pages at the back of the notebook (which is not the end of the world, but I personally prefer a few more) and that as it is undated there is no division between the months and I did enjoy having a monthly to-do list in my 2019 planner. However, this is not a reason not to use this planner and I will simply have to adjust how I am using it.
