In 1913 Mr Harunosuke Ogawa founds Messrs. Tombow which produces pencils. In 1927 the brand Tombow is founded. In 1929 upon the request of the Japanese Government, Tombow develops and produces a pencil for technical drawing. Tombow continues to develop its mechanical pencil over the years, together with pens, gluesticks and liquid inks at the same time expanding worldwide.
For EU/UK readers you can find their website here for their writing and drawing products. Cult Pens also provide a decent collection of Tombow Products.
I do not personally own any of their mechanical pencils but I own both the Tombow Fudenosuke Brush Pen which has a flexible nylon fibre brush tip (pictured above) and the Tombow Kei Coat Double Sided Highlighter Pen (in pink). Both of which a solid pens and handle well.

I’m intrigued. Love this, and wondering if I can get them here in the US.
