So I recently found that some of my mail had been going to a neighbour by accident and they have like a years’ worth of mis-posted mail. In this pile of mail was Muryō inserts that I got as a freebie (thank you Jesse and sorry for not writing about these inserts until now!). So although this is a little late – I am super excited to try these inserts and of you want to buy your own (or simply find out more about the Muryō Method – you can find out more on their website.
The Muryō Insert
The Muryō Inserts are double sided, the first side (pictured above) is for goal setting/tracking and habit tracking. You can just write out your goals at the top and then your habits or daily tasks down the left hand side to tick off over the next few weeks. This is all filled in on the insert card itself.
The second side (pictured below) is the used with your chosen notebook. You can use the Muryō for cataloguing/indexing your notebook in conjunction with your regular notebook of choice. This is perfect for using with Monthly Notebooks, as it gives you the ability to write freely and you don’t have to worry about organizing your content into different notebooks. You can just use the one.
As well as using this insert for cataloguing/indexing your notebooks, you can use it to track milestones on the right hand side, track your mood at the top and at the bottom you can track anything else you want (it is left blank for you to populate).
It is a great idea and I am really looking forward to trying different things using it – as I often create my own trackers and inserts which I tape into my notebooks using washi tape etc. It is nice to have a potential simple solution for all the manual tracking that I do.
