The PRO Project Planner is a great planner. It is great for specific project planning but can also be used as a general diary/planner as it is effectively an undated planner with yearly, quarterly, monthly and weekly plans. I am using it as my desk diary/planning specifically for all things that I am working on in relation to diversity and inclusion.
I started by using the Pro Notebook to record all the projects/ideas that I was working on, ideas I had, things I wanted to do and achieve etc. This is the resource of ideas and inspiration – the starting point. Once I had this information I then linked this up with the Moleskine Pro Project Planner. I picked my priorities for the next 12 months, wrote up my diversity and inclusion goals, and wrote my plan for the first 4 months.
I picked a project to work on each month and split this down into tasks. The monthly pages are really good as they have 31 items, so I can pick something to do each day as well to ensure that I make progress as well as the overarching monthly goal.
The weekly pages I work in during the week. These tend me to written each day, by identifying my priorities for the day (based on the available time I have to work on the project) as well as tracking the progress made.
Finally, the notes pages I use for meetings. When I have a call or meeting about a project I use this space to take notes and note down action points.
